My dad says, “a horse like that only comes around about one in fifty.” To me, it’s more like one in a million.
We got Rowdy from a Quarter Horse breeder here in Tennessee when he was 6 months old. I started him under saddle when he was two and realized pretty quickly that he had something extra special. His ability to learn and retain at lightning speed has made my job as a trainer very easy. He is accomplished in the TSHA (Tennessee Stock Horse Association) having placed in all four disciplines including first in trail. He was the ACTHA (American Competitive Trail Horse Association) pleasure division National Champion 2015-2016 and has placed first in several ETS (Equine Trail Sports) events.
Although his resume sounds good at only five years old, the thing that makes him absolutely priceless is the way he will take care of an inexperienced rider. That is worth more to me than all his blue ribbons!
